One of the casualties in Greek communities during the past twenty years has been the understanding that an occasional fundraising effort and an Adopt A Highway program will compensate for sexual assaults, fighting, hazing, being bad neighbors, racist party events, and lower than average grades. Dave will use the perspective that the harsh realities of nature can apply to Greek communities, too. Hope remains, but it must be coupled with action and accountability and the understanding that hope is not a strategy on the plains of the Serengeti: We Earn Our Badges Every Day. Values set us apart, when they are implemented and supported.
"Human Express" Film Screening and Discussion (sponsored by Red Bull) Wednesday, May 1, 2013 7:30pm Running Wild (121 E. Washington Street) After screening of a documentary called “Human Express,” a representative from Student Health will share some information regarding appropriate diets for an athlete, including what to do before running a 5K. The representative will also address how alcohol affects the human body and its physical performance.
SWAT Programs - Academic Success Workshops Presented by University Counseling Services Wednesdays 3:30pm - 4:20pm All Programs held in 61 Schaeffer Hall (SH)
SWAT - Study, Workshops and Tutoring - participate in any 1 hour programs and sign-in at the end to receive Fraternity and Sorority Life Educational Programming Credit. There is a limited amount of space for each session. When the space is full, no other students will be admitted to the program, so please arrive early. Dates and topics include:
